    About your organisation
  • You have stated you are a school, college, local authority or other statutory organisation in the previous step. Please go back and change this.

  • You have stated you are another type of not-for-profit organisation in the previous step. Please go back and change this.

  • * For-profit organisations and sole traders are not eligible. Please see the guidance for further information. If you are unsure what status your organisation has, please contact Taith enquiries@taith.wales.

  • Not-for-profit organisations working in the field of youth or Adult Education, which are not regulated or registered in Wales but operate on a UK wide basis, with demonstrable, recent, experience of delivering activity in Wales, may also be eligible to apply provided they meet the following criteria:

    To be eligible, organisations must provide satisfactory evidence to demonstrate:  

    • how the proposed programme activity will benefit Wales and
    • that the intended participants are either (i) for outward mobility, participants who are actively engaged with an eligible organisation in Wales, or (ii) for inward mobility, the participants will be undertaking learning activity in Wales.
  • *You may be asked to provide evidence that you meet the above criteria as part of an application process.

  • *Taith may request further information and/or evidence of your demonstrable, recent, experience of delivering activity in the relevant sector in Wales during an application process.

  • Thank you for your interest in Taith funding. The last question you answered indicates that unfortunately, you do not meet the basic eligibility requirements for the programme and therefore should not continue to complete the application form as this will not be considered by Taith.

    • *Please list all your board directors/trustees. If you have more than the minimum of two, you must list all directors/trustees.

    • * Is anyone in your organisation, who is involved in this application, also involved in any other Taith funded organisations or other organisations involved in consortia funded by Taith.

    • *Are any staff, volunteers, directors or trustees also directors or trustees of any other Taith funded organisations or organisations involved in consortia funded by Taith.

    • Activity eligibility 
    • *We will look at the organisation’s objectives set out in your governing document to confirm that the activities detailed in the application form align with or do not fall outside these objectives. We will also check the fit with the Taith funding call objectives.

    • Financial capacity 
    • We require a copy of your most recent accounts

      If your most recent accounts are for the prior year-end, please upload your current accounts. We will accept unsigned versions. Taith may ask for more recent accounts where accounts are more than 12 months old. We may also ask for more detailed information of activity within your accounts. This may include but is not limited to:

      • Income and expenditure
      • Cash flow statements
      • Balance sheets

    • Please confirm the following:

    • * Taith will require grant recipients to hold their funding in a way that clearly demonstrates it is ringfenced and only used for the Taith activity. This will enable grant recipients to clearly evidence how the funding has been spent against the budget. If you have more than one Taith grant, you will need to demonstrate these are held in separate discrete budgets so individual grants can easily be identified in audits.

    • * In the event of the organisation being dissolved Taith would in the first instance expect any remaining Taith funding to be returned to Taith and no funding to be transferred to any other organisation without express written permission from Taith.

    • *Whilst the minimum number of signatories is two, please list all signatories that will be allowed to sign for Taith spend. Taith takes into consideration, the financial capacity you have for managing public funding. Taith may ask for supplementary information regarding your financial processes, including a scheme of delegation and/or expecting more than the minimum number of signatories.

      Signatories must not be:

      • related by marriage
      • in a civil partnership with each other
      • in a long-term relationship with each other
      • related through a long-term partner
      • living together at the same address
      • related by blood.
    • Financial documents 
    • If you will have any difficulty in providing these documents, please speak to the Taith team as soon as possible and prior to the application deadline, enquiries@taith.wales.

    • Taith is aware that some applicants will have their funding held and managed through the local authority and this can cause some delay in providing documents. If this is the case for your organisation, please contact the Taith team enquiries@taith.wales prior to submitting the eligibility form.

      If you intend to use the local authority to hold funding and you are unable to provide a bank statement, you can provide letterhead confirmation of bank details from the local authority.

    • The following documents must be uploaded by all applicants.

    • A supplier set-up form with section 1 on page 1 completed.

      Please note: The email addresses on the supplier set-up form must either be in the name of the organisation or a personal email. We cannot accept email addresses that are connected to a place of work that is not the applying organisation.

    • The last 3 months bank statements (with the first dated no earlier than November 2025), with no redacted information, for the account detailed within the supplier set-up form. We ask for your bank statements to confirm your details in the supplier form are correct.

      Local Authorities and Schools using the Local Authority bank account can upload a letterhead confirmation of bank details given in the supplier set-up form.

    • Bank statements

    • The last 3 months bank statements (with the first dated no earlier than November 2025) with no redacted information, for the account detailed within the supplier set-up form. We ask for your bank statements to confirm your details in the supplier form are correct. We also use the statements as part of an overall financial capacity check, looking at cashflow and where appropriate, we may carry out further checks such as credit checks to establish the financial capacity of your organisation. We may also ask for further bank statements and evidence of financial capacity.

    • You have stated that your bank account has not changed since your last application. Please re-confirm the bank details below. If these do not match the details we have on record we will contact you.

    • Previous/current Taith grants 
    • *If you have an existing grant award or have previously been in receipt of Taith funding your grant performance will be taken into account when reviewing your capacity to deliver a new project. Where there are disputes/outstanding issues with previous/current projects Taith may withhold payments and/or grant offers until these are resolved and/or reject any further funding applications.
